ECA enters partnership with key industry suppliers

The European Casino Association (ECA) has announced a new initiative, the ECA Strategic Supplier Partnership, which aims to promote collaboration and sustainable growth across the European casino industry. Leading suppliers, including Aristocrat Gaming, IGT, Light & Wonder, and Novomatic, have been named as the first partners in this initiative.

Key suppliers join forces for industry growth

ECA with these suppliers seeks to create a robust framework that encourages knowledge-sharing and joint efforts to address common challenges within the casino landscape.

European Casino Association Chairman Erwin van Lambaart said, “We are pleased to welcome Aristocrat Gaming, IGT, Light & Wonder and Novomatic as the founding members of the ECA’s Strategic Supplier Partnership.

“This collaboration allows us to share diverse perspectives and work towards solutions that benefit the entire gaming community, while respecting the distinct roles of operators and suppliers.”

This collaboration builds on ECA’s recent move to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American Gaming Association (AGA) and the Betting & Gaming Council (BGC) in October. That agreement highlighted the importance of a joint approach towards issues like responsible gaming, illegal gambling, and industry innovation.

Focus areas for collaborative progress

The ECA Strategic Supplier Partnership will concentrate on advancing responsible practices within the gaming industry, as responsible gaming lies at the core of ECA’s mission. With this collaboration, ECA and its partners aim to implement measures that promote a more responsible and transparent gaming environment.

Additionally, they will work on standardising casino equipment across the European market to ensure high-quality, reliable standards that enhance both operational consistency and customer experience. Security enhancements also play a vital role in this initiative, as the partners will collaborate on developing and implementing advanced measures to protect customer data and physical safety within casinos.

Another key area of focus is combatting illegal gambling, a longstanding challenge that the ECA and its partners are determined to tackle by developing stronger protections for both businesses and customers.

Supporting sustainable growth in European casinos

The ECA Strategic Supplier Partnership is positioned as a step toward enhancing the integrity and sustainability of the European casino industry. By pooling resources and expertise, the founding partners aim to drive industry-wide improvements while respecting each other’s roles within the casino ecosystem.
